Refund Policy

1. 7-day money-back guarantee on memberships

1.1 The guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your REI Cash Index membership, ask for a refund within 7 days of your first membership payment and we will refund that payment in full.

1.2 What it covers. The guarantee covers the first payment on your first membership, whether you chose the monthly plan or the annual plan.

1.3 What happens to your access. Your membership ends when the refund is issued.

1.4 Limits. The guarantee applies once per person and once per business. We may decline a request where we find fraud, account sharing or a breach of the acceptable use rules in our Terms and Conditions, such as copying the dataset in bulk.

2. How to request a refund

1. Email support@reicashindex.com from the email address on your account.
2. Send it within 7 days of the date of your first membership payment.
3. Include your name and say that you want a refund. You do not have to give a reason, though feedback helps us improve.

We reply by email to confirm.

3. How refunds are paid

We send refunds to the payment method you used at checkout. We issue an approved refund within 5 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take up to 10 more business days to show it on your statement.

4. What is not refundable

Except as described in sections 1 and 6, these charges are final:

• Membership renewals. Monthly and annual renewal payments, including the first renewal after a promotional first month.
• Restarted memberships. Payments on a membership you start again after cancelling.
• Partial periods. The unused part of a billing period after you cancel.
• API access. The API add-on, whether billed monthly or yearly.
• Ad kits. Facebook and Google ad kits, keyword lists and negative keyword lists.
• Courses. Training courses.

Ad kits and courses are digital products. They are delivered right after purchase and cannot be returned, which is why those sales are final.

5. Cancelling a membership

5.1 Cancel anytime. You can cancel from your account's billing page or by emailing support@reicashindex.com from your account email.

5.2 What happens next. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. You are not charged again.

5.3 Avoiding a renewal charge. Memberships renew automatically. To avoid the next charge, cancel before your renewal date. Cancelling after a renewal payment has gone through does not refund that payment.

6. When we will always refund you

We refund the affected charge in full if:

• you were charged twice for the same purchase;
• you were charged after we confirmed your cancellation;
• we charged the wrong amount; or
• a problem on our side kept you from receiving or opening a product you paid for, and we could not fix it after you told us.

We also give any refund that the law requires.

7. If we end your membership

If we end your membership for a reason other than a breach of our Terms, we refund the unused part of your current paid period. If we end it because you broke the Terms, no refund is due.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. We can usually fix a billing problem faster than a bank dispute can. We may suspend an account while a chargeback is open.
